All content is wholly created and owned by the entity hereinafter referred to as Godless Monkey. Who is the Godless Monkey?
He is an inter-dimensional time traveller currently caught in a worm hole in Alpha Centauri and manisfesting on planet Earth. He spends his time observing and pondering the human condition, making stuff up, painting mustaches on dangerous dogs, bar-b-queing sacred cows at random and making mischief on a whim.
OR
He is an international bogun, a card carrying curmudgeon, a spinner of tall tales, a light painter (photographer), a devil-may-care globe-roaming man of the world with a thirst for experience and knowledge and the owner of a high-functioning bullshit meter.
You decide.
What a bogun!
Everyone should get in touch with their inner bogun.
I don’t have an inner bogun!
That’s what you think.
I love reading your stories. I have been busy with my online store lately and haven’t had a lot of time for a whole novel. These stories fill my need to just read sometimes, and the short story or essay is becoming my favorite remedy for this need. I found your other blog and have since followed you to here. Thanks for sharing your works with us.
Pat
Great blog with a very, unique title. Your title is what caught my eye. Your stories are what kept me reading for much longer than I should have(since I was suppose to be doing other things).
Hi. Your blog is excellent! I’ve been checking it out for about a month now. Keep up the good work, and thanks.
Hi, greetings from a couple of boguns located in northern Sweden. We think you rock and if you’re ever globe roaming to our part of the world, let us know.
Hi.
Thanks for that. I was in Sweden last December visiting a friend. Stockholm is a lovely city. I’ll look you up next time I’m there!
lol… just stumbled across this really. you are on my facebook for mob or mafia wars really i dont remember which, anyways… saw your comment about new story: I’m Just Troy… decided to check it out and certainly glad i did nice work..
Well thank you. So you’re in my Mob on Mob Wars? Well I’m glad you liked the story, I’m very pleased with it, I tend to write first-person stories well I guess.
but do you mob up? lol I’m there too. I don’t think you’re in my mob though, or I in yours. Love your stories and articles, but you know that. Pat
Thanks, Pat. Keep it coming, the check’s in the mail. lol.
Then you’ve heard the ‘bear’ joke about that! lol (re: “…the chech’s in the mail”
It’s an oldy but a goody. “No need to cut this one open, everybody knows the Chech’s in the male.”
You haven’t been hiding under a rock all of these years!! lol Stay cool, I read but try not to bother you. Thanks for your writing. Pat
Thank you for enjoying it. You could never be a bother, please don’t think you could.
What a great site. I have been visiting here on and off for ages and you always bring a smile to my face(and the odd LOL). You are as mad as me!
Best wishes
Maureen
Well I would hope so, all artists are mad arent’ they? lol. Glad you enjoy, please come again.
I have noticed your blog on Alpha Inventions. Very creative and well written. I’d like you opinion on my new web site: http://www.newauthorsandartists.com
You may have also seen my blog at: http://www.pooritalianboy.wordpress.com
Thanks..carl C.
It’s an interesting idea but off the top of my head I’d have to say without knowing who the audience is, how they differ in any way from the people I’m already exposed to, I don’t see any advantage in paying to have my work presented elsewhere. Also, if they can read the story for free there why would they buy it? Good luck.
Got to love the bullshit meter! Its a win!
Good job!
awesome, imaginary, thought provoking, mind expanding prose.. I like the idea of taking a picture and expanding it into a story, and uniquely crafting a tale from the landscape… keep climbing them thar stacks of books in the library..your onto something…

Why thank you, I most certainly will.
Arrived a Disgruntled Old Coot and departed as such.
Life moves slowly in a shanty atop the Ozark Plateau surrounded by extensive hillbillyism and a huge herd of mental midgets whose main joy is exuding excess noise from unmuffled conveyances and yapping mutts whose relentless barking permeated every inhabitable structure.
I’m with you on the huge herd of mental midgets.

Always a pleasure to read your works, wherever you are from, or wherever you may be at the time. Continually interesting. Thanks.
Thank you. It’s people like you I write for.
At least you admit you made up this Eiger adventure.
Some of my work is semi-autobiographical. Not this one though.
Hi. The image that is on the front page of your blog is on google images. Is that a picture you took? Do you know where it came from? Is it your? We love the picture and would like to use on some internal magnets, posters, etc. for inspiration on our Reach for the Summit Theme. If this is your picture, would you give us permission to use it? If not your picture, do you know where it is from?
I looked at the header of your blog and the question “Does form follow function or does function follow form?” was like a mirror – while writing to you I meet with myself. Thank you for the stories -for the spirit which rejuvenated me while reading you by reminding the tales that guarded my steps till now for we could shake the hands.
Yes, every picture tells a story and it is my hot welcome to Art by Tomas I invite you to browse over the huge archives of my artworks. Hope you will enjoy the pictures and let me know your mind. Thank you once again.
As with me!! How I found this site from downloading a diary I will have to look at my browser history to follow – Sadly I am finding the last entry a few years old, which is OK in that the reading will still bring me some joy, but would love to read Godless Monkey’s musings on some recent events. However, the form/function dynamic has always fascinated me. I tend to lean towards function in all things, but I know form is intrinsic at some level.
Great information 🙂
